Upcoming and past shows
Our next show:
Wednesday, July 30th @ 7pm ET at The Speakeasy at Capo Deli
Our theme:
“Only in DC: Stories of Our City”
Theme: “Only in DC: Stories of Our City”
From awkward encounters with power players to metro mishaps, from protests that stirred our souls to quiet moments in neighborhood parks—some stories could only happen here.
Join Generation Women DC for an evening of true, personal storytelling that captures the heart, hustle, and hilarity of life in the nation's capital. Six women, each representing a different generation, take the mic to share what makes DC theirs. Expect laughter, reflection, and those “you had to be there” moments that remind us why we call this city home.
Spend a night celebrating the District—its quirks, its culture, and the unforgettable stories it inspires!
Generation Women is a multigenerational storytelling series that invites a performer in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ to share an original true story on a theme. Our mission is to amplify underheard voices, and create space for intergenerational connection and community.

“Generation Women gave me a deeper appreciation for the shared human experience of women. Race, color, sexual orientation and faith did not separate us, in fact, our stories brought us closer together.
It was beautiful.”
